Welcome to What the Flood — a humor-driven apparel brand made for government employees, by government employees.

We know the meetings. The acronyms. The trainings. The forms. The “urgent” emails that somehow require three follow-ups, two approvals, and a committee that meets quarterly.

So we created What the Flood as a place for government workers to laugh at the chaos, sarcasm, and oddly specific situations that come with the job.

Our mission is simple: make gear that says what everyone in the office is thinking, but probably should not put in an email.

And yes, in true government employee fashion, this store was also created to help accelerate our retirement. Not immediately, of course. That would require paperwork, signatures, and someone being out of office until next Thursday.

Every design is made to feel relatable, funny, and just a little too accurate. Whether you work in public works, administration, utilities, emergency management, permitting, inspections, compliance, or any other department where “quick question” is never quick, this brand is for you.

At What the Flood, we are not just selling shirts. We are building a place where government employees can laugh together, survive the workday, and maybe make retirement feel slightly less like a distant myth.
